I have never tried to hide the fact that i have no eyelashes. Once I totally pulled out all of my eyebrows, I used an eyebrow pencil. I learned long time ago to accept myself for who I am--take me how I am or not; I don't really care. However, I didn't even know I wasn't the only one who pulled until i was in my 30's. I am just now taking steps to really beat this thing. Finding this website and the support was my first step. I have done a lot since then! I finally met other people like me for the very first time on a retreat in August. It was the best experience in my life and I am almost 50!!

Hi Lindal,
Joining the group is helping. It's really good to know that there are others out there with this same problem. I've been trying to focus on moving forward instead of dwelling on how weird I look without lashes and brows. So far, two days without pulling...a new record for the last several months.
