I'm getting more and more settled into my new apartment. It's on the 4th floor, and I've started keeping the shades open both to let the sunshine in and to enjoy the panoramic view by day (now you can see lots of pretty fall colors ) and the city lights at night. Most of my stuff is where I want it. What's neat about this place is I've gotten to know more of my neighbors here in 3 weeks than I did in the old house in 14 years. I also enjoy the activities like the Bible study that meets every Sunday where we each, with our eyes closed, open the book and point to a verse and relate what it says to us. There's also a Tues. night Bible study that I haven't yet made it to because of other activities but think I will tonight. Also, the house serves lunches at 11:15 on weekdays for a dollar donation. I don't eat there every day, but I'm looking forward to trying tomorrow's--red beans and rice. And now I have my computer and a printer one of my friends sent me--one of these days I'll get organized with that. Have a good day, everyone.
