as I was afraid as it would be. In fact, while it wasn't fun, it wasn't the Spanish Inquisition either in terms of pain. I'm talking about the transvaginal ultrasound I had to have this afternoon. Late last week when I'd found out that that was what I'd been scheduled for and imagined from its name that it would at least be an unpleasant test, I went to DS to look for info on what it's like to go through. The one person who went into it in detail was heavy on the pain--which was not reassuring. But actually, after the beginning, I got used to it so it didn't feel as b ad--and in fact I thought it was rather neat when the examiner got to each ovary and I could hear the sound of the arterial blood in each one. It sounded like the ocean, and the examiner said this is a good sign. She did a good job explaining everything and answering my questions, but still I'm relieved that it's over--except that I'll have to meet with my GP about the report.

I am glad to hear that the test went well and was less stressful for you than it might have been.
Yes, please let us know what your GP has to say.
I hope your foot is a little less swollen.
Take good care of yourself.
