Yesterday was a busy day. I had 2 appointments--one with my counselor, which was routine--but the other was an evaluation with a psychologist to determine my eligibility for SSI and SSDI. I didn't think it was much of an evaluation--he just asked me general questions about my life, how my childhood was, etc. I didn't get much of a chance to tell him about my bipolar. He also had me recite back strings of numbers, which was easy, and asked me a couple of questions like "What would you do if you found a stamped, addressed envelope lying ont he ground?" and "What does it mean when people say, 'The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence'?" It was interesting but too easy--I don't know how an accurate evaluation will come out of that.

I hope you get your ssi or ssdi,, that was easy questions,,, hmmm maybe trick questions,,, I dont know lol,,, hope you had a great day,,, God Bless you

Thats pretty much the same thing they said to me when I went through the evaluation for SS. I don't know why they have you do it but what ever I said worked.

I hope you get your ssi. Those questions seem pretty lame to me. I'm glad I didn't need an evaluation.
