Lack of Stamina Mood
Tuesday, September 1, 2009 | A General Update story

A year ago I was about to have a major back work-up.  It came to nothing really.  Never even saw the actual doctor, as he was a surgeon and they don't care unless they can do some cutting.  Currently, my back acts up every once in awhile and most of the time is just sore.  It bothers me most in the morning when I'm bending down for some reason, so maybe there's some arthritis going on.  Started going to a senior support group a month ago or so and one woman there has been recently diagnosed with Afib.  They're stabilizing her warfarin intake and she doesn't seem to know anything about cardioversion.  I expect I'll be hearing more from her in coming weeks about how it's developing. This is the month school starts again - my grandson starts college here in town and I'm hoping to stay in close touch with him and enjoy the excitement vicariously.  This morning at 7 am my numbers are:  BP 99/56.  Heart rate 75.  Pretty much the same as it's been for a long time now.  The main thing about the Afib this past month is just feeling tired very easily.  Climbing two flights of stairs does it, for example.  Still about a month to go till the next checkup.  We'll see how it is by then.
