  Hi Jeannie Beannie...it's always so fun to get huggie messages from you!! Yes that finger stick hurt BAD...I couldn't believe it! I will do whatever it takes to not have that happen again...I was being very careful but the darn cap was so freaking stuck and then it just flew off and that rebound action got me - whap! No, I didn't bend the needle. I keep a glass of water by my bed at night and I drink from it 3-4 times during the night because I get up at least that often to go to the bathroom. Each time I'm up I drink....lol. Plus, I have to set my alarm to wake up at 4:45 to take my thyroid med (because I can't take anything my mouth after that for at least 1-2 hrs)...so I down that pill with an entire glass of water. I think that during a 24 hour period I am drinking 150 to 200 oz of water. I use a styrofoam 20 oz glass at work and I put a mark on it for each one I drink during the day and it usually always has at least 6 marks on it by the time I leave work and then all that I drink when I get home. Knock on wood, but my rash is 90% gone!!! I seriously believe that taking the benadryl prior to my shot and prior to the pills has made the difference. I still itch but at least the hot, burning skin pain is gone and my skin isn't all sunburned-looking. It's such a relief! Oh, and so far no mouth sores (had them early on but pretty minor) and I hope they stay away...lol. And, yes, it doesn't take much to make me bleed a lot and I have bruises that come out of nowhere. I woke up feeling really good today so we went out for a breakfast sandwich at Panera but I'm back home in my slippers and flannel lined pants...lol...such a sexy sight...and that's how I will stay today. Jeannie, I am so excited about you being 75% there!! Wow, sorry this is so long - I should have sent it in a message...lol

  Hey, I have to tell you that I just took my shot 1/2 hr ago and it's the first time that I jabbed my finger trying to get the needle guard off. I really stabbed myself pretty good and it bled something awful...lol. It's funny how those darn guards are so hard to get off. I remember your incident and the bent needle.

  Oh Jeannie I was just talking to Bill about you tonight that I rarely hear from yu and that your almost done..I am soooo excited for you Your amazing Your doing this with flying colors......I got so happy to see you here and it really made my day ...our snowman is gone and we took our tree down tonight too. It is over..ok now bring on the sun and the sunshine already..I have been very patient......I LOVE YOU Have I said that yet..well I do and I think you are sooo funny The world needs people like you Jeannie...being able to laugh and be funny are true gifts.....you are a gift to this world and to me..I want to try so hard to start journeling again....when I get home and do all the stuff then finally sit down I spend time on face book where I talk to Lauren Its like my only time with her I then try to get to DS and my eyes are closing...........I want to make it a priority to journel there I think we all should....anyway back to you..when yo hit the single digits shot wise it will fly..I couldnt believe it..Jeannie on Feb 12 I go for my 6 months followup hows that for flying.........I cant believe that..as my friend anna on here said once and I laughed hard THE REFRIGERATOR IS EMPTY after the shots were done..hahahaha.....anyway Im so tird Im so happy to hear form you and see you upbeat etc etc....I will try to be here more I miss you....Di

  My pc was on the DS site, but I was not! When I need to write something and then get back to it, I lose it, but when I just walk away and don't close the DS window down, it stays online forever! Go figure! Yep, can't wait for Lost...I hope Dianey gets back here soon...she will miss our Lost chat! Can't remember if Mary likes it or not...we will have to check. Helping my friend move. Helped her clean out her closets yesterday! Whew I was beat, but in a good way, cuz I did keep going alot longer then usual. Will continue to help through the weekend. She is my friend of 25+ years who Pilot husband left her for a stewardess (an alcoholic one at that) Anyway, we had been friends for all those years. Vacationed, camped with them etc. Even bought our last RV's on the same day! So when he divorced her, he divorced us too! Anyway, we always call Danny "Big Love"...as a joke. As he helps her with all the husband junk around the house, electronics, picture hanging etc. He is so sweet, and if we are in Vegas together and shopping, he carries all our bags and stuff (shopping not purses LOL!) So anyway, when she cleans out her closets, I get alot of her stuff. She is my Oprah (lots of money until the divorce of course) and I am her Gail! LOL! So her give aways are like Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne etc. So it is fun for me. ALthough she has gained weight, and I have lost weight..so we are not the same sizes so much anymore. Okay, totally went ADD there LOL! Just want you to know I am feeling so much better, and you will get there too. I know it never seems like you will ever feel good again...but you will. It will just be around the corner now for you! 12 weeks and counting down! Have a fabulous, warm and toasty day! Sending you lots of lobster hugs! Barbara

  P.S. I did the Google Earth thing but it picked a different house for my house. It put an "x" in the middle of the block by a house that is about 4-5 houses away from me. Tonight I want to Google yours, Barb's and Diane's...that's a cool site. I need to see where this illegal basement factory actually is. :)

  LOL.....I just got to work and, of course, the first thing I do is check DS and there is your office memo for Thursday...lol!! It started my day out with a laugh and, believe it or not, without stress. Yup, just reading about sweats and fuzzy slippers and no stress made me feel like I was in sweats and fuzzy slippers. I have to tell you the boo boo I did this morning. I am wearing black dress slacks and I wore my snow boots to work and carried my shoe bag with my "black" dress boots with me. Well, when I got to work and went to put on my "black" boots, I realized it was my "brown" boots that are an identical style to my black boots. So...here is am with black pants and brown dress boots on. I'm thinking I'll be calling Joe to bring me the black boots. Heck, maybe I'll just tell him to bring my sweats and pink fuzzy slippers instead...yup, that's it! Have a lovely day Jeannie!! After work I have to go to the pharmacy to pick up my next box of shots and this box will be my HALF WAY box. I'm 2 shots ahead so it'll be a while before I get to actually using the shots in that box, but at least it will be in my fridge. Then I have to go have labs done for the thyroid doc and then stop by Walgreens and buy MORE LOTIONS. :)
