I feel like I have not even made a dent in all of the packing for FL. It does not look like anything is different. I through out at least 20 contractor bags of clothes, etc. It is all the chatkas - I have so many and I like all of them. I don't want any of them broken either. I am panic stricken.
Also, where are they all going to fit in Florida. I have no China closets. I do not know what to do. I am going to start to pack my very favorites first. The ones I can visualize a home for. I don't have the time for a sale.
This is the ramifications of being a collector.
Ok - this is what I keep saying to myself:
Only take my memories with me!
Out with the old in with the new!
I will have forgotten all about them in a few months.
It is only material things, not worth having a heart attack over.
Everything can be replaced, but I cannot be replaced.
Easy Does It
and
Keep it Simple!
Ok - Now Believe It!
Back to sorting, throwing and packing.

moving is rough, can you put them in a consighnment shop? they sell for you and take a cut . look for another collector on ebay and offer them a deal. relax and think of how much less dusting you will have to do... send some to all the neices ... I guess this is all stuff you have already thought of .. or donate to a senior center or a second hand shop that supports battered women and children. at least you know that you are helping someone. I once donated most of my crystal to a church silent auction to send kids to summer camp.
