Hi I have been on arenesp for 3 months my counts went up but are now dropping,yesterday my hemoglobin was 7,My doctor put me on revlimed every other day starting today. They also are testing me for copper.If you or anyone else can give me advice I would love to hear from you.
I’m With You
Iknow exactly ow you feel. AM in the same position with my parents and am in a ocnstand state of anxiety and depression and worry. Every minute of every day I think of them and worry about them. I wish we could make them better and live forever.

My mother will be 85 June 21st. She has dementia. As I look at her gray hair, her main activity is sitting at home in her stuffed chair and gazing at my daughter and myself as we speak to her we too find it difficult to see her in this condition. We're trying to keep her home as long as we can. She has basically turned back time into childhood. Physically she's there. Very weak and barely able to walk. Her mind is that of a child. However, we're all that she has. So, here's a Hug, you're not alone. Marika

I feel your pain. My mother is 80 and has been in hospital to nursing home since before Christmas since last year. She has dementia and most of the time does't know who I am. She has a feeding tube in and suffers from seizures. I lost my mom emotionally last year and really miss her and our conversations. I know the pain of watching your whole world get old and go away. I am 52 years old and still want my mom.

My name is Betsy and I am 52. I work as a technical support engineer for a large software company. I am also a spin instructor for a health club in the Dallas area. I have a daughter who is in college Vermont. However, I am never alone as I have 10 cats and 2 dogs
Close Myelodysplasia
diagnosed with myelodyspasia in 2007 went through series of treatments, incl. regular shots of aranesp. was sent to bone marrow transplant doctor to discuss possibility of bone marrow transplant. However, had additional studies and found me to be significantly copper deficient. I ended up at the Mayo clinic where it was recommended that I undergo intensive copper infusion. Completed 6 weeks of computer infusion and bone marrow and platelets are completely back to normal
