Been a busy couple of days and I find I haven't written for a while. big news is that my dog had to have acl surgery yesterday. Spent a lot of the past couple of days getting that put into place... blood tests, x-rays, etc...surgery went well, but she is not real happy at the moment. Did manage to get outside, down the new ramp we had to put up since stairs are forbidde. She's on pain meds and antibiotics....reminds me of my own knee surgery and recovery so I feel for her.
Worked yesterday. It's more like playing for me as I was "secretary" and it reminds me of my childhood games of "secretary."
My food choices have been deplorable, and I feel completely out of control. Totally crazy! I'm certainly not enjoying what I eat, but seem completely incapable of stopping myself.
I'm going to OH next week. Charlotte is doing so well in school...so ready to read. In fact, Erin says she does read some words and sounds them out.
Today will be pretty laid back. Don't want to leave the dog alone at this stage of the day though we might go to the hospital to visit a friend at some point during the day. We'll have to see how she does. I am back at the point where I start everyday with totally good intentions andresolve but it all collapses as the day goes on.

Hope you feel better. I know how you feel having an ill pet. We are going through a time with one of our birds right now. I miss your "things I'm greatful for part of your journal. But I understand your feeling bad. Maybe your visit with your granddaughter will recharge you.

I am glad that the dog is doing better. About food... what can I say I seem to be in the same boat. My food choices have sucked the last couple weeks. I guess the honey moon period of WW is over for me and now I need to get to work. Have a wonderful trip! See you on FB. LYL Tonya

It's good that your dog has you to look out for her... You know the food thing is so hard, a constant and daily struggle. My prayer is that each one of us could surrender the food to our Lord and let Him guide our steps (bites) each day. Be blessed my friend and have a wonderful trip.
