About Me
My name is Laurie, I have been married for 13 wonderful years! I have 3 awesome boys, and a dog named Shorty. I have fibro, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, chronic sinus, depression, anxiety, fibro fog, post infectious ibs, migraines numbness of right hip and down leg into toes and sometimes tmj. BUT inspite of it all I try to stay positive. I just found out that my back and hip problems have turned into arithris and my fibro is worse than what it has ever been.

No worries - just some light work on the weight machines - very light weights and only a few reps to start. I'm going mostly to support hubby. He had gastric bypass about 18 months ago, and he's "stuck" at 125 lbs down, and knows he needs to exercise to get the weight loss going again. I just thought as long as he's going, I may as well get some benefit to myself as well. Don't worry - I won't push it - I'm in a bit of a flare and not sure how much I can do at all - let alone overdo it LOL

Don't worry about "dropping" anything on me - isn't that part of support? I'm in a flare myself - oddly enough it's only my legs mainly - a bit more pain than usual everywhere but my legs feel like two large toothaches and I'm sick of it - been about 10 days now. We joined a gym today and it has a hot tub - I'm going to start with the machines tomorrow and then get in the hot tub and hope that the warm water makes a difference.

Just read your response to my post about the nause and vomiting. 5 weeks for you ?! OMG!!! You might want to ask for Phenergan or Kerafac (not sure if I spelled that right). I've had to take Phenergan before...Phenergan is also used for people with Cancer going through Chemo to help with the nausea and vomiting, so it's strong and it works. Carafac, or Kerafec..don't know how to spell it... is what my doctor just prescribed for me..supposed to work along with my GERD medicine (Protonix) and it's supposed to coat the stomach to reduce the acid ...
