Hi Good to hear from you. Been a bit fragile today despite do my best to be positive. In some ways seems like may years and some like it was yesterday! No not on birth control or anything similar. Think that is why it is classed as unprovoked, hence the life long warfarin. Are you still on yours? To be honest the life long bit doesnt really bother me much. Not that big a deal as long as you are careful. Thanks again for hug and message Kate x

Thank you for the advice. I went to the doctor this morning and I am trying the morphine, it is my first day taking it, so I suppose I will have to try that out first with the other drugs I am taking, but thank you so much for the advice. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out last week and she was in a great deal of pain, I wish I had known about the medication you suggested then - I could have told her about it. Do they go under the same name in the UK do you think? Thanks for taking the time to help Hugs Sue

I am a 65 year old healthy female. Very active, runner etc. I have developed a PE and DVT from a long plane flight. I am now on Coumadin. I feel fine and no swelling in the leg that has the clot.
