I often feel the same way. Fortunately it passes once things calm down, if only for a minute. Hang in there.

Thanks so much, and thanks for posting that link too - it has a ton of great info! I love that it has a section on how to keep them organized at school - just last night I was writing a list of things to pick up for my son to try and get him off on the right start from the beginning this year. Last yr his teacher was horrible - we struggled all year - she was not cooperative at all, didn't follow the IEP, let him sit in class and do nothing and then send all the work home for me to do with him - it was a horribly stressful year. I hope and pray this year will be different. It upsets me that we all have to go through these difficulties and watch our kids struggle like this, but it really does help to know others understand. :)

I know how you feel. I am new to the ADHD diagnosis so I can only tell you that you are not alone. Hoping the meds give you and your child some much needed peace.

I know how you feel. Katie is just 5 and sometimes I don't know how I will make it through till she is grown. It wears me out physically and emotionally. We are waiting to start meds. She has ADHD, ODD, anxiety and depression. They are now considering bipolar too.

hello mountainlover, I truly live in your shoes on a daily basis,My 9 year old is diagnosed with ADHD,GEneralized anxiety, seperation anxiety,OCD and Bipolar disorder. He does not want to leave my side,I can't get him to school,he fears everything, beehives, candles, people walking behind him, school, scared I am going to die.Anyway I truly do understand it runs our entire house.on top of this I have a four year old who sits in the backround and is now starting to have behaviors because he wants attention but there is only one of me.My son is on Vyanse for his ADHD,Niravam for his anxiety which is a tablet that dissolves under his tongue, and siraquel for his moods.well email me so we can chat!!good luck!!!

I hear you on the not caring thing. I really do wonder if it is the ODD. When I did some research on it, it said that a seeming lack of concience is usually evidant in ODD cases.

Be the "peeing problem" medical or psychological... you will find out what it is because you are a dedicated, loving and resourceful mother who will do anything to help her child overcome the odds and succeed! You deserve a SUPERSTAR status for that. :)

hey, sorry haven't written yet. it wasn't important, but i will still write it later. i have had a hell of a migraine, going onto day 7 now and no one and nothing helps. :( doctors are worthless, meds are worthless, can't bear to get on computer cause the light makes it worse,...i am TIRED of being sick all the time. so tired. my ex dropped the kids off late, and of course, they were NOT bathed in 3 days...my daughter's hair was a huge knot..thanks to my ex i had to bathe the kids at 8pm when they should have been ready for bed already. jerk. he complains he has a baby to care for like that precludes him from caring for his FIRST two children, or something. if the jerk wouldn't have been screwing a married chick while HE was still married, at the time he was supp to be "recuperating" from back surgery, then maybe he wouldn't HAVE a spawn-baby to be caring for. GRRRRR. okay, gotta go..my head's going to explode.
