Been a while since I've been here.....At least I am still here......Having a new round of treatments....Bendamustine, and Rituxan.......Soon, Very soon.....I will be attempting the actual Bone Marrow Transplant......The Ball is Rolling!!!!Yea!!...Still looking for a donorbut a match is possible soon.!!A long road to go yet.....Stayin Positive,mostly...I have my days tho......
Anyhoo.....Just a Quick ..Thank You ..to those of You that write me sometimes, I appreciate it.
Enough for now.....
I have just came home from a week long stay at the hospital...I was only supposed to be having a 1 hour long chemo treatment. A new one, called Pentostatin.....BAD ...BAD...VERY BAD Stuff. It was told to me me , to be less invasive and fewer side effects than Fludaribine.....LIARS!!!!!Made me so sick...I lost two days...literally...My platelet count sunk to 4 (thousand)...was given platelets for three days and they only came up to 12 (thousand)......I live in Quad Cities IL.....Can ANYONE...ANYWHERE....Please tell me where to get competent treatment???? I don't mean to sound ungrateful....I'm Not......Just want to get on with life....Thank You in advance ....
Glad to say ..I am doing better. The nose bleed has stopped! As far as doctor stuff goes, We are doing the wonderful wait and see thing..(again)...Will find out more when I go back on May 5th....'Till then ..just trying to stay busy,and not get real bored.
