About Me
I am a 44 year old...I am currently disabled due to having Stage IV CLL..(Chronic Lymphocytic Lukemia)...I was diagnosed in June of 2000........I am trying to find some one to talk to about this disease and all the stuffs that have came with it. I come from a large family..I am the middle child of Seven. I have Six Children (3 of My own--3 Are My Girlfriend, Laurie's)...I Claim ALL six!! And They are The Best!I Have Been with Laurie for almost Eight Yrs.--(In June)If Not for Her ...I am pretty sure that I would not be here still.(of course My Doctors Helped)lol...SHE is My Rock Though..... Close Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
I was diagnosed with CLL way back in June of 2000....I am hoping to have a BMT in the near future. I have had my spleen removed and will very soon be going thru that operation again..(?)....It apparently grew back..(Yep, It Happens.....I am 44..I have been treated with a lot of different things....some not listed here..most with serious side effects. I have a Motto...:It could ALWAYS be worse....
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- Have had quite a bit ...cytoxin ,rituxan, will be getting more soon
- Fludara Somewhat Helpful
- caused some bad things...like PCP pnuemonia..Vasculitis, Reynauds Syndrome...
