I am 30 year old stay at home mother of 2 wonderful boys. I have been married to a great man for years and things are going good. I recently worked at my childrens school as a 1 on 1 pera professional. I am not currently working because my lupus has been flaring up horribly. I also was just recently diagnosed with Kidney failure but have regained function. But then all sorts of other problems started: cervical cancer, bladder infections, enlarged kidneys and a lesion on my spleen which they think could be cancerous. I mean really!! Come on, do I really need anymore problems?? hehe. I try to laugh about it to make it easier but it really does bother me.

Close Lupus
Hi I am 27 years old and have sle lupus. It effects my joints and my heart and I get a nice rash with it to. I am looking for someone who has some of the same symptoms to talk with because sometimes I just need to know there are other people out there that are dealing with some of the same things.
Treatments
- Celebrex Somewhat Helpful
- Cellcept Not Working
- Just stopped it and did not see any difference.
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- Naproxen Somewhat Helpful
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- Works great
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Worked great and helped the inflamation around my heart go down.

Open Dialysis
I recently was diagnosed with kidney failure. I am not sure about all of this and what to expect.
Treatments
- Dialysis Working / Worked
- I recently had kidney failure due to my Lupus in January. I have been doing cytoxan treatments which is allowing my kidneys to heal while the lupus is suppressed. They just took me off of dialysis and say to keep doing the cytoxan for another 6 months atleast.
