Hi Ladies...only got a quick minute...this is my first time online since we got home Tuesday night. Jenna is still Jaundice, her billi number is 16.9...but it is stable there for 2 days now. It was as high as 18.5. That is when the PED put her under the lights and made us start supplementing her with formula. It came down after being under the lights with her stylish sunglasses. I was so sad to have to supplement and she started getting nipple confusion. Now we are using a special nipple to help with that and are giving a bottle every 3rd feeding for the entire feeding opposed to topping her off every feeding. She is right back to doing well with her latch. I pump when she gets that bottle. She is also down 13% from her birth weight. We keep going in for billi blood work and weight checks. She has a break over the weekend b/c her number stabilized. Monday she has a weight check. I'm hoping if she is gaining, I can stop supplementing with formula.

I'm doing well. Still taking the occasional percocet for pain. DH is so great...he is taking care of me, Jenna, house, errands, phones and all updates. When we got home Tuesday night he had decorated the entire house with welcome home baby Jenna. He adores her so much! He is even helping me with BF. Love, love, love her name! She is beautiful. Our babies are 11 hours apart in age. Glad to hear daddy is really pitching in...lucky you. My baby has low grade jaundice (didn't quite need the lights), so I know about the yellow baby thing. I had to order is photo announcements in black and white because of it. Congrats!

CONGRATS!!! I am so glad to hear that you are doing well and that you are getting the jaundice under control. Not sure if it is just me but the link to the birth announcement is not showing up. Cna't wait to see pics.

I'm glad to hear you and Jenna are doing well. Congratulations!!I understand what you're going through--they took Matthew at 38 weeks, He went to the NICU for 3 days AND he had jaundice (as high as 14.9) so I understand how tired you must me--trying to heal, breastfeed and attend the MANY doc. appointments. Do try and rest up and make sure you're taking the prenatals and drinking lots of water. Congratulations again and hopefully you'll post a pic.
