I'm sorry ladies. Life has been so crazy with my RA & baby Jenna. I love being a mommy. She will be 4 months old on June 1st. We are having her Christening on June 15th, Father's Day! I'm doing well. My RA isn't doing so well. I'm trying to exercise at least 4 days a week to keep as flexible as possible. I'm having trouble with my RA meds making me have shortness of breath. Just this week I've skipped them and next week I'll introduce 1 of them back to see if I'm ok with it. Hopefully I'll be able to identify which is causing the breathing issue. I hope it's not the good one that I think actually helps. We'll see. It could always be worse. I've lost 45lbs since having Jenna (Jenna included).
Jenna's 4 month appt is coming up and that means more shots. Ugh! I hate seeing her that upset, but I know it's for the best. She has been smiling up a storm for weeks and starting to laugh just a little bit. She is sleeping in her crib for the past 2 months. Well she was in the bassinett in the crib until a couple weeks ago. She's been sleeping through the night for the past month. She goes down around 7:30 and wakes around 6am. I'm so happy about this, b/c with my RA sleep is mandatory to being able to function to the best of my ability. She is grabbing items that are in front of her. I never really believed baby make the sound "a goo", but she does. It's so cute! She seriously dislikes tummy time, so she hasn't rolled over yet. I know I need to let her tough it out a little bit, but it breaks my heart. We do a little tummy time everyday.
I hope you are all doing well. I promise to try harder to get on. I'm going to go read about what you've been up to now!

I'm so happy to hear you are doing well. I agree that BF is exhausting. It's so difficult to get decent sleep. Someday it will all be behind us and we'll wonder where the time went! Life is busy to say the least. I can't believe how much time a baby takes. I wouldn't change it for the world, but the adjustment is difficult. Maybe because I am an "older" mom and I was so used to doing everything on my schedule. Now my little Charlie Max runs every aspect of my life. It's his world and I'm just living in it!
Hi Ladies,
Jenna's weight increased by 3.4 oz today...it's really slow going and isn't back to her birth weight of 7lbs 9oz and she's 2 weeks today. My PED said, I could stop supplementing b/c she is gaining and her jaundice is looking good. Have any of you had to supplement before? And, if so how did you make the transistion back to all BF? I've been pumping like mad to have enopugh milk, and I'm exhausted and so ready to BF exclusivly and not worry about pumping for a while. TIA I'm also feeling frustrated and overwhelmed from it all.

That's good that you can stop supplementing! I'd suggest that you nurse her like you have been and then only pump when your engorged and uncomfortable as you slow down on the pumping your body won't produce as much. Think of it this way when she hits her growth spurt and wants to nurse more to increase your milk supply she won't have to it will already be there!!! I'm glad your nursing little Jenna we were "IVF buddies" now we can be nursing buddies :)

It is sooo good to hear from you. I am glad that Jenna is doing well. Sorry that your RA is not so great, but hopefully you can figure out the meds. I can't believe how big she has gotten. She is very sweet!!!
