Close Bipolar Disorder
I have been having problems for years and finally I have a diagnosis of bi-polar, the many doctors have put me on quite alot of different meds that I have really been wondering how they effect me. I finally got on med assistance. Last year alone we spent over $6,000 for coverage on Medical, not including co-pays. I hate to see how this can help. Most people can't afford this. ttfn AnnieEm
Treatments
- Abilify Too Soon to Tell
- caged rat syndrome
- Depakote Working / Worked
- Used with lamictal, and abilify, and by it self, alone -ok but with the rest it seems to make matters worse.
- Lamictal Not Working
- with depakote and really just was same, took at evening since the day was worse.
- Tegretol Not Working
- took when I was 19 for awhile, put me in hospital for kidney problems.
Close Dementia
My mother has been diagnosed with early stages of dementia, She keeps repeating words randomly, and has no idea who people are any more, the other day she thought I was her granddaughter, and my dad was her grandson. She has been hospitalized but that didn't seem to help much other than to give her more meds that they can't afford. My dad gets to sleep a minimum of 3 hours a night. I think we might have to put her in the home to keep her from hurting herself. More and more.
