I am a 50 year old female. I have a son and a beautiful grandson. Addiction runs in my family. This group means a lot to me and Im hoping this time my QUIT will be a success.My pic is usually of my beautiful bulldog "Burt" but he is having a rest and the little dog who says "handle all problems like a dog, if you cant hump it or eat it, piss on it and walk away" is standing in for him.

Thanks friend yes I am trying hard to lose...slowly but surely. It is not easy as I want to eat when I am lonely, bored so weekends are hard. But another pound down this morning so I am encouraged, going for a long walk today for sure! I hope your day is going well too. Hugs Kate

Thankyou for caring it means a lot. I'm doing much better, no more tears. Took the dogs outside and watered the gardens. Fresh air is a great healer. No smoking is going to happen here today. Hugs, Beth

i have stopped smoking. this is my second day and Im finding it difficult. My Mum died recently from a smoking related disease so it is important I stop.

Hi I havent slept well for years but since the death of my Mum and Dad this year I have hardly slept at all. I probably get about 4 hours between 5am and 9am gosh it really sucks
