Kristab After 4 months of antibiotics I am in a much better place now. I am now trying to check my diet out to see if I can strengthen my system. I am trying a mixture of flaxseed oil with quinoa for breakfast. Or with whey protein powder. I cut out all processed food, no coffee, min dairy & eggs, Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables,wholemeal organic foods w/M bread, pasta, porridge, buckwheat, millet, pumpkin seeds. with low fat white meat No refined food, lots of Water, It really helps,take care Dave

P.S. Also did the potassium thing with the steriods. I still take mega doses of potassium and that helps with the muscle and joint pain. Magnesium and calicum help too.

Kristab: Sounds horrific! Thank God someone finally listened but this is such a horrible disease. I use a product called Samento. You can google it. Last batch I ordered direct from the company in Florida. It helps me with headache, neck ache, brain fog and my eyes. Plus general aches and pains. I put it in water and drink all day. I totally understand your victim description, your friends are here for you. send me a message if you feel alone or not being heard or understood. Close Lyme Disease
Got sick aug 2006 diagnosed with lyme- with a highly positive test in Jan 2007.
Treatments
- Cefotaxime Somewhat Helpful
- iv 3 weeks developed serum sickness, hospitalized 4 days
- Ceftriaxone Working / Worked
- Rocephin-allergic reaction at 4 weeks-hives. Worked great for the head aches.
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- had to stop all meds after last allergic reation, honestly dont know if it really helped or not.
- Lexapro Not Working
- I could not tell any difference
- Lyrica Somewhat Helpful
- Side effects not worth little pain control weight gainlots hair loss and a high feeling.
