Close Fibromyalgia
Have had chronic pain and fibro for 10+ years. Pursuing treatments for pain control at night.
Treatments
- Ibuprofen Not Working
- It works for headaches and general aches, not nerve pain associated with FM.
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- It helps for muscle spasms but not for pain. Makes sleep a little more restful.
- Pamelor Somewhat Helpful
- Supposed to help FM nerve pain and aid sleep. Started with 10-20mg - no improvement. GP increased to 25-50mg. Will report if this helps.
- Feldene Somewhat Helpful
- Doctor upgraded the ibuprofen to this, but I am not sure it helps either.

Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and PCOS in 2003. Diabetes 1 & 2 run in the female line of my mothers family.
Treatments
- Metformin Somewhat Helpful
- Took more for regulating PCOS symptoms. Blood sugar remained in 120-130 range.
- NutriSystem Working / Worked
- Works great! Preprepared meals and lots of salads. Lost 30 lbs!
