Well, Ilet him know how I felt and he wasn't interested. That's life. I was kidding myself anyway to think anyone would be interested in a portly middle-aged cripple with no prospects and nothing to do except eat, drink and wait to die.

Thanks to all for your welcome.
I am certainly not in crisis or despondent right now, but I have periods of OCD/Depression that range from mild to moderate. I've tried various medications
and find that the SSRI's make me hypomanic, Have been given Haldol, Mellaril and
Risperdal to counteract the SSRI's and they worked OK but caused weight gain and
just general dysphoria. Psychotheraphy has largely been ineffective.

I went for a checkup yesterday, the Nurse Practitioner told me I have a suspicious-looking mole on my back that needs to be biopsied. NOT what I needed to hear - we had a family friend who died slowly from melanoma - diagnosed when she was 39, died a month after her 43rd birthday.
Of course it's likely not melanoma. I very seldom go out in the sun, so how is it that I might have a basal cell/squaemous (sp?) cell/ or melanoma?
