Close Diabetes Type 2
Found out about my diabeties about 12 years ago by a phone call from my doctor on by birthday morning.
Treatments
- Actos Working / Worked
- Didn't really work that well. Stopped it soon after starting it.
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- Change in eating habits works, I have to have small snakes through out my day to be able to make it
- Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
- Found that eating non-fried and raw veggies is best
- Glipizide Working / Worked
- I thought it would work, but found out it didn't
- Glucovance Working / Worked
- About the same. It really didn't work, but I tried it for a whild
- Lantus Working / Worked
- Still on it but it works best for me when divided into morning and evening instead of one dose in the morning
- Prayer Working / Worked
- 1 Thessalonians 5:17 KJV Pray without ceasing.
Close Coronary Heart Disease
I have had a stroke and a heart attack. I have also had 11 stints inserted/

- Angioplasty Working / Worked
- worked for a while, while they placed the stints
- Aspirin Working / Worked
- Not sure that it is working but to afraid not to keep it up
- Caduet Working / Worked
- Pretty sure it is working. doctor recomended it so I though it would be a good idea
- Plavix Working / Worked
- Same as caduet, doctor recomended it, but I am pretty sure ut works for me
- Stents Working / Worked
- I have had 11 put is. They help hold open the veins and artiries so they work just fine

I have high blood presure mostly because of my diabeties but as because of geneticsl

- This and other drugs are recomended by my heart doctor and I believe in him so I believe in the drugs

Open Hypothyroidism
I have beem daignosed since I was about 17. I am 47 now. It seems I have always had it and now will always have it. One doctor said I am taking the most meds for someone as young as I am for as long as he's been a doctor,

I have suffered from clinical depression in the past but try not to let it get me down now. I feel that my belief in God has allowed me to get past my deprassion

Open Heart Attack
Had a heart attack in 2005. The seekend of hurricane Katrina. I had felt bad for about three days. Didn't even know I was having an heart attack and didn't even know it.

- Very helpful because usually they lead to stints!!

- Using as a low dose remedy
- Fish Oil Working / Worked
- I'm pretty sure this is working because my colesteral is down
- Stents Working / Worked
- I've had eleven implanted. They have worked and kept me from getting by-pass

ionmy family. doctor believes i have symptoms but wont allow for testing because i don't show signs of the condition
