Close Hives

I got Hives all over my body in early January. They haven't gone away and I was diagnosed with Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria. A fancy way of saying Long term hives that dr.s have no idea what caused it.

Treatments

Claritin Somewhat Helpful

Only relieved itching somewhat. Keeps it at bay.

Prednisone Working / Worked

Hives went away relatively fast. No more itching. But only works when I'm actually on the medication. Once I went off it. Hives came back.

Benadryl Somewhat Helpful

Didn't get rid of hives. Only relieved enough to fall asleep for a couple hours at a time.

Doxepin Working / Worked

Is really relieving the hives. They have gone down a lot since I started the treatment. Down to only a couple itchy patches a couple times a day instead of all over hives.
