About Me
i am a psychotherapist and part-time substitute teacher. I was diagnosed in January 2008 with Ventricular Tachycardia. In April 2008, I had a catheter ablation which was unsuccessful. I have experimented with a bunch of meds that did not work. I am now using Flekainide to alleviate this problem sooo learning to deal with this new condition.

love the beach, being outdoors, camping, spending time with family. love amusement parks, meeting new people, travel and music.i always look for the good in life....and realize it is way too short to whine :O)

Treatments
- Atenolol Not Working
- extreme fatigue, dizziness Stopped in February
- Metoprolol Not Working
- Did not work, I was exhausted. Stopped taking in March.
- Tambocor Working / Worked
- Started at 50 mg BID, now taking 150 mg bid and is helping the palpitations cease.
- Diltiazem Not Working
- Did not work and developed a rash from this medication.
Close Parenting 'Tweens (9-12)
single mom of 12 year old....and it is challenging to learn how to deal with the little girl that is now growing up --and all the moods, attitudes etc :O(
