LIFE... AND HAVING FUN WITH MY FAMILY! besides that I'm interested in swimming in lakes and streams, fishing, camping, playing ball, reminising with old friends and family, making new friends, laughing, singing, traveling, helping people, playing board games, eating interesting tasty new things, planting flowers and watching them grow and bloom!hmmmm...there's probably more...oh yes watching good movies. I went and donated blood. What a great feeling I had. Somebody may live because of my donation. Then I got a letter in the mail. You probably have hep c. You should go see your doctor. That is when it all began. I was sad to learn it was true. I'm a geno type 1a. I'm very thankful my husband and children were negative. I found out my little sister has antibodies.She cured it on her own. Don't know if I got it from her or visversa. I hope and pray I can beat this too! I start treatment Apr. 9th.
My babye sister is a type 1 and Mom and older sister are type 2. I have many questions and hope to find people who will share their knowledge so I may help my family. My baby sister is also suffering from a kidney disease and is livnig on aprox 20% kidney function. I was trying to give her a kidney so that she would not have to go on dialiasys but in the process found out I have only 1 kidney in me. I also found out I have a liver disease and am now on a chemo drug called interferon for hep c.
