About Me
I am Sandy and I am 51 yrs old and have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. I had surgery on my back last Oct. and my Rhuemetologist told me that the surgery my have triggered my Fibro. I have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I have been married to a terrific man for 26 yrs.

Close Fibromyalgia
I am Sandy 50 yrs old, and have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis. My Rhuemetologist said my back surgery last Oct. probably triggered the Fibro. and cause my arthritis to become worse. I don't exercise because the next day I pay for it. I have gained around 40 lbs. sense last Oct.
Treatments
- Aqua Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- heat makes it feel better for a the time I am in the tub
- Elavil Not Working
- it was suppose to help me sleep but it doesn't
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- same as the hot tub
Close Degenerative Disc Disease
I had surgery last Oct. on my back. They fused together Lumbar 3, 4, & 5 and replace two discs. My rhuemetologist told me my back surgery triggered my Fibro.and caused my osteoarthritis to get worse. DDD stink and so does Fibro.
Open Arthritis
I have severe osteoarthritis in my hands and feet. It is even hard to type this.
Treatments
- Surgery, Knee Replacement Somewhat Helpful
- surgery on my back triggered my fibro.and made my arthritis worse.
- Swimming Too Soon to Tell
- I seem to irritate my fibro. when I swim, but it is suppose to be good for that to.We'll see.
