For my DS friends wishing me well with my surgery, there is no surgery today. My medical transportation ride never showed up this morning. Dave and Marge, I think you need to get that limo out of the barn for me....In the meantime, I am headed back to bed.

I AM SO SORRY THINGS AREN'T GOING AS PLANED. IF I WAS CLOSER TO YOU I WOULD SEE YOU GOT TO WHERE YOU NEEDED TO BE.HOWEVER BEING 1500 MILES APART THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO BUT PRAY FOR YOU AND I DO JUST THAT. TAKE CARE AND GET BETTER. YOUR FRIEND IN KANSAS DAN.

It is kind of ironical that I posted the discussion last Friday of asking folks what stress does to their bodies - Hmmm....Guess you know what I am doing! Yep---sleeping, and waiting for Dave and Marge to deliver that limo. Get the mule to haul the tractor out of the way, so you can get the limo out of the barn and send it to me.
On a serious note, I contacted my case manager with Human Services, and she is requesting an investigation.
I worked all weekend to get my patio and gardens looking nice so that when friends came and dropped by this week, my pride and joy (the garden) would be looking its best. I even got candles set up on the back patio, and put myu ground egg shells out in the veggie garden (broken up egg shells keep the slugs and snails from munching since they do not like the sharp surfaces of the egg shells).....But, at least now everything looks nice for me to relax and enjoy.
The surgeon is now requiring me to have an in-office appt. with him prior to booking qa new date for the surgery. The first available appt is July 10th, and so it appears that I will be having surgery after then. Relatives coming from California in July and a trip to Portland for an org. I am on the Executive Board for is also in July. I am going to have to purchase a secheduling calendar that can work miracles.

Shoot, well, all I can say is :( poor darling, so sorry, try to sleep well. Like Scarlett O'Hara used to say, "tomorrow is another day".
