About Me
I lost my first child at 25 weeks pregnant on February 11, 2007. I have the support of my husband, family and friends, but it's still difficult sometimes. I have been trying to get pregnant again for over a year now, did first Clomid/IUI cycle in April, got BFN. Moving onto IVF. I have two furry babies, my pugs, Gimli and Buster. Got BFP from first IVF on 8/5/08! Collin born on April 2nd, 2009!

Where is Kiddie Kandids and Picture People? We are going to Flash Photography in Northbrook Court. I had a couple of recommendations saying they were good and reasonably priced. We take pics tomorrow! I'll let you know how it goes.

Hi Jen! That is sooo cute! A monster! I love it! Haven't seen that! I know... our babies are getting to be so old. It depresses me a little bit. Part of me wants Shayna to stay little forever. We had a great Halloween! She was a pink bunny rabbit. Too cute! We're finally having professional pics taken next week. Looking forward to that. I wish we didn't wait so long. Close Miscarriage
On February 11, 2007 I was 25 weeks pregnant with our first child. I hadn't felt him kick in a couple days so I called the doctor and they said to go to the hospital just to get checked out. When we got there and they did an ultrasound, there was no heartbeat. They started Potossin and 11pm and my son was delivered February 12 at 11am. This is the hardest thing we've ever gone through in our lives.
Treatments
Close Stillbirth
I found out on February 11, 2007 that I lost my son at 25 weeks due to a narrowing in the cord. I miss him everyday.
Open Infertility
My husband and I have been trying for about a year now. I got pregnant before naturally, but my son was stillborn at 25 weeks. Getting frustrated it's not happening again. Recently got tested at RE, and FSH came back a little high. He assured me my number wasn't that bad, but wants to move ahead in treatments. Got BFP from first IVF 8/5/08!
Treatments
- Artificial Insemination Not Working
- Got BFN trying this once in April.
- Clomid Working / Worked
- Took this for first time in April, it worked but it gave me visual disturbances, so I can't take it again.
- In Vitro Fertilization Working / Worked
- Starting birth control June '08, ET was July 24th, Beta Aug. 5th
Open Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
I got pregnant naturally with my first son in September of 2006, though sadly he was stillborn at 25 weeks due to a narrowing in the cord. DH and I tried again for over a year and nothing was happening, so we went to the RE and decided to move ahead with treatment. I got a BFP on 8/5/08 from my first IVF!
