Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
I'm 24 years old, and tired of the pain. I have been looking for a answer since I was about 15, and finally diagnosed in Sept '07. I was also diagnosed with PCS, Endometriosis, and quite a bit of nereve damage through my lower back and pelvis. Needless to say I have not had a pain free day in a very long time. I work just to afford my medicine and nothing else. I haven't learned to cope. I'm afraid to eat and do the things I love to do because of the pain. I need to learn to beat the disease.
Treatments
- Elmiron Somewhat Helpful
- Not working quite as well as my doctor and I would like. I've lost and am still loosing hair.
Close Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
i have ic and my ibs is a result of it. i'm taking benefiber and miralax twice daily. and taking amitiza at night. so far nothing is working.
Treatments
- High Fiber Diet Not Working
- i eat nothing but whole grains and high fiber products and not the slightest change
- Miralax Somewhat Helpful
