Close Asthma
Type: Adult AsthmaI have asthma for about 4 years now aolong with COPD, and Intersital Lung disease and cushings
Treatments
- Albuterol Not Working
- Albuterol was not work I was switched over to pulmicort.
- Asmanex Not Working
- At first Asmanex worked for me and then then they had to switch over to Apiriva
- Inhaler Somewhat Helpful
- When I need it it does give me some relief.
- Pulmicort Too Soon to Tell
- I just started Pulmicort so I cant tell if it is workingyet or not
- Singulair Working / Worked
- I have been on Singulair for 4 years and it does help a alot
- Theophylline Working / Worked
- Theophylline was working, but the doctor took me off of it because I was have tremers and so they took me off of it.
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have been on depression medicine for 4 years now. I was prefectly healthy and then one day I find my self in the hospital for 6 weeks with lung desease. I take effexor 250mg and zpyrea 5 mg. I also see a therapist once a week , but I feel that once a week is not good enough. I am looking for support from anyone who can undertand what I have been going through. How did you deal with one day being active to been sick and can not do anything and then go into a deep depression.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Not Working
- This medicine really never helped me at all.
- Effexor Working / Worked
- We had to raise it up to 250mg and the zyprea it seem to be helping but I have not been on these two medicine that long. I seem to feel good some days and others not so well. I think I just need to give it a liitle more time.
- Lexapro Not Working
- did not work
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- I try to think of one postive thing a day.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Yes, very well.
- Wellbutrin Somewhat Helpful
- This medicine worked for a liitle while.
- Zoloft Working / Worked
- This one worked for about 4 months for me.
Open COPD & Emphysema
I have interistial lung desease, COPD, and emphysema.
Treatments
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- The albuterol I used for 3 years it to a point and then I needed to change. I have temors byt with the albuterol they were more pronounced.
- Pulmicort Working / Worked
- I have just started using this but it seems to be working.
- Spiriva Working / Worked
- This medicine work very well.
- Theophylline Working / Worked
- I had temors in my hands and head as a side effect to this medicine. but it was helping me.
Open Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Treatments
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- headaches and lower back pain. I first injection worked on the lower pback pain. It did takemy headache away for 2 days. I am to have 2 more done. The doctgor told me that it works different on everyone. Some get relief right away, some it takes 1 week and sometime you have to have more than one block done.
Open Cushing's Syndrome
I have had cushings for 4 years
Open Fatty Liver Disease
I just found out that I have fatty liver, but the doctor told me it is from all the medication that I am taking. He did not say that there is a problem with it. He said that we will keep a close eye on it.
Open Other Heart Problems
Type: Heart Murmuri have found out that I have PFO or ASD they are going to do a TEE on the 29th of OCT and see what is going on. For 4 years they always said it was my lings. So we will have to see.
Open Endometriosis
My daughter ca;;ed me tpday tp te;; me the dpctor says she can not have any kids because of her endometriosis. I told her I want a 2nd opinion and we will go from there. She feels that if see can not have kids that no will want her. She is 22 yrs old. I told here there are a lot of opptions out there and me and her dad are behind her 100%.
