I was diagnosed with nephritis when I was 19. The doctor told he then my kidneys would probably last only 10 years. I was blessed and had another 20 years with my kidneys. My family was tested and because of health reasons no one could give. Then my husband sent out a mass email to all our friends and we had several come forward. How blessed I felt! One male friend was a match and he gave me the gift on September 18th. I am now almost 6 months out and still need encouragement.
