Even though I had my first sympton of PD in April, 1984( almost 35 years old); and was diagnosed in 1985 (was married with 3 girls-ages 2, 7 and 12) …
I worked at an university in Atlana for almost 10 years before I went on disability. I have 3 daughters, ages 33, 28 and 23. I am about to be a grandmother for the first time. My passion in lie is God. I believe that is how I have made it for the past 22 years. I moved to Alabama from Atlanta 10 years ago and it was the best move I ever made.

I have had Parkinson's for approx 21 years. I have 3 girls who were very young at the time. I left my job in 1991 and separated and let Atlanta in 1996. It's been a struggle both physically and financially. I never would discuss my condition and did no want anyone to know for years. I wonde sometimes wha I would be doing now if this had not happened.
i don't have bipolar, but i take seroquel and effexor.
