      I'm a 54 yr old female who was dx january 2007. After a year of unsuccessful treatment from my primary doctor he has referred me to a pain specialist who wants to give me epidural injections. This has me very worried, although I need the pain to stop. While it varies in intensity from tolerable to unbearable it does not go away.
