About Me
Right now, I am just a student, and dental assistant. I do a lot of both everyday, and try to hang out with my boyfriend. We do a lot together, but once in a while I try to be with friends, or family. It is hard to do things with the friends I have because some of them are not good people. My passions are the outdoors and any activity that I found interesting: hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ice skating, laying in the sun (but being careful), boating, etc. Balance is what my key is right now!

Close Lupus
I was diagnosed with lupus at the age of 17, but my symptoms started in the later part of 16. At first, I had developed joint pain and my hands would swell in the morning. My symptoms gradually got worse to the point that I was too tired to do anything, and in too much pain to walk. I went to the ER and they concluded rhumatiod arthritis, but I had an appointment with a rheumatologist anyway a month after that so I still went. That is when she diagnosed me with Lupus...
Treatments
- Cellcept Working / Worked
- It was the pill form of chemo, I was suppose to take it for 2yrs. I felt a little naused, but I guess ok.
- Plaquenil Considering
- I have no idea! I don't like taking it because it makes me go no. 2 a lot. Drugs are an internal thing. So I don't know how to tell. With anything I take I still feel achy depending on what I do.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I took this when I was real bad, and the pain went away. But, I felt like a nut case! I don't know if I ever want to take it again.
