I just lost my mom after a very short battle with cancer. She just had her port put in to start chemo, 10 days later she died. I am glad I got the chance to tell her everything I ever wanted to, but I can't get the sight of that monitor going to flatline out of my head. This is so hard.

We are getting divorced after 9 years of marriage. Noone cheated, we have just grown apart. It was my decision because he had grown very controling. We have 2 kids, one with a brain injury. I think a combination of events such as his illness, me staying home to take care of the kids tore us apart. Now we just want it over.

Close Meningitis
My son contracted meningitis, encephalitis, went into a coma and suffered a massive stroke when he was 11 1/2 months old.
Open Brain Injury
I care for my son who has a total brain injury from meninigtis, encephalitis and stroke at 11 1/2 months of age.
Open Bereavement
My mom passed away suddenly on Monday October 6. I don't know what we will do without her. RIP mom!!!
