Hi Kathy,
Thanks for asking! I'm doing well. I still have a little pain, but nothing compared to before. Most of the pain now is muscular and the surgeon said that the muscles and tendons could take a few months to heal. I'm still really fatigued, but I'm sleeping a LOT better then before, so I think that will subside, too.

Have had tmj for 8 years, been through dislocation, botox for pain, and an orthotic and crowns to center the jaw and fix the dislocation. I was told I needed Jaw Joint Replacement but it was too risky, and that it would be better to have the non-surgical re-position procedure to correct the bite. Go figure a Foodie who can't chew food anymore, I hate it and have a hard time dealing with it, can't chew at all!
Treatments
- Mouthguard Somewhat Helpful
- Have gotten rid of it except for 4 days a month, I really don't think I need it sleep fine without it and wake up in no pain, unless I had started some by chewing.....
Close Hypothyroidism
Too bad we can't get on one pill and stay on it......
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- Sensitive to the medication but it works.
