I had a good weekend...Hunting for haunted house supplies. My son's BDay is next month and we are planning a big shin dig. This will be his 1st BIG party with friends from school. We usually just do family.
So far this is in the $300.00 range and we haven't even bought food. We have a tractor with a huge trailor and going to take the kids on a hay ride to he haunted bridge and scare the pants off em.
Between games, prizes and decorations this is getting costly... But, my son is so excited and he has never asked for any of it.
I want this to be the Birthday his friends talk about for years and the one he never forgets! He's a great kid!
Truth be told, I'm having fun too;)

My daughter's birthday is on Halloween and I am throwing her a big party ON her birthday! I hope her friends can make it. I've tried switching it to the day after but I could not :-( The only other day available is October 4th. But I am planning a whole big party complete with centerpieces, dance floor, and costume contest.

I am doing it the Saturday before Halloween... His BDay is the 29th... I figure this way more kids can do the Halloween thing with their parents too. He also has Mass on Halloween so that makes it hard, most his friends are Catholic so they would all have Mass too..I can't see kids going to church in Dracula ad Zombie outfits lol
