Close Graves' Disease
I had thyroidtoxicosis, acute graves disease. I was in an out of the ER many times with what was later realized to be thyroid storms. 4 months ago I had a full thyroidectomy.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- Since I do not have a thyroid any longer, I am currently on 75 micro grams of levothroxine as well as 50,000 units of vitamin D and two tums every day for calcium. (I myself also take a one a day, 800 mg or vitamin D everyday, vitamin C and Echinacea. I still have a lot of muscle weakness and muscle cramping going on.
