      i've had this disease since i was 7 years old.

    • Close Dementia

      i'm the caregiver for my mom who's 71 & is in a nursing home. She had a brain tumor removed 3 years ago whidch caused the dementia. I can tell that she's getting worse. I've read about the stages & so on. I just get stressed cuz, i'm the only one who sees her & i also have the power of attornery for health care. I've got no family to turn to for help & get the guilt trip if i don't see her for a few days.
