Acne Suffer: I have had acne since I was a teen. My dermatologist prescribed oral antibiotics/ creams. The final solution was Accutane. It cleared my skin, but had too many side affects. I am 38yrs old and still battle with acne some. I no longer see a dermatogist because of ins. clauses/copays. But what I use now, helps manage my acne. I use over the counter acne kits from Wal-Mart/ Walgreens ( the ones less than $25). Also lemon juice is a great astringent/ toner. An egg mask 3x's a wk.
Treatments
- Accutane Working / Worked
- Too many side affects: Dry mouth, lips, an d nose. Contracts against getting pregnant, since it is a high dosage of vitamin A.
- AcneFree Working / Worked
- Great Stuff!
- Benzoyl Peroxide Not Working
- It burned my sin
- Minocycline Not Working
- Proactiv Not Working
- Too expensive and made my skin worse.
- Tetracycline Not Working
- Washing Working / Worked
- Over the counter antibacteral gel aborbs into skin better than bar soaps
Close Codependency
Any advice for a codependent needy person thats infactuated with the infactuation phase of a relationship? I love being in love. I'm a new member off this group, but a old member codependency club... Any recommendations on befriending males without becoming romatically consumed by them. I don't know how to maintain a platonic friendship. I mentally live in a fairy tale and expect to transform all frogs into princes. Had several relationships, but only one platonic male friend in 20 yrs.
