Thanks for the hug. Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Just busy and waiting until Jan 1 when my new insurance kicks in. We are going with my husband's employer's insurance. Aetna was one of the options and they will cover invitro 100% for 3 tries. Hope all is well with you.

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I have been suffering from PCOS for many years. I have been to numerous doctors trying to get some sort of diagnosis. I did not get a diagnosis until my husband and I tried to start a family. Once I went off birth control I did not have another period. I have the weight gain, facial hair, acne, fatigue...all the pretty stuff :).
Treatments
- Clomid Not Working
- Disappointing. Did not work at all for me. Had few side effects.
- Metformin Too Soon to Tell
- Back on Metformin with new RE. Up to 1700mg and doing much better than last time when I took it. Changed my diet and cut out almost all sugar.
- Oral Contraceptives Working / Worked
- I took Loestrin 1/20 for many years before TTC.
- Provera Working / Worked
- Always does its job and brings on AF.
Close Infertility
Type: Hormonal DisordersI was diagnosed with PCOS and have been trying to have a baby for about four years now. BFP 4/9/09! m/c 5/19/09 BFP #2 8/14/09!OMG TWINS!!!

- Artificial Insemination Working / Worked
- Hoping and praying. IUI #3 w/Menophur BFP 4/9 m/c 5/19. IUI#4 BFP 8/14
- Basal Thermometer Not Working
- I do not ovulate.
- Clomid Not Working
- Never worked for me.
- hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked
- Made me ovulate. YAY!...Ouch :)
- HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked
- Tubes and Uterus look good.
- Repronex Working / Worked
- I did create 3 follies! Waiting for it to get me my BFP. Now taking Menopur..we will see.

Type of allergy: Other FoodsI suffered most of my childhood years with painful stomachaches and vomiting. My mom took me to dr to dr trying to find out what was wrong with her little girl. Finally at 11 yrs they discovered I was critically allergic to Beef! 6 mo with no beef and I was a new kid. Just frustrating b/c a lot of people do not understand.
