mother of 9 year old with alopecia. Im 29, I am a solo mother, I work as a nurse in New Zealand. My daughter has just been diagnosed with alopecia and has her first wig now. I am looking for people to correspond with about alopecia, i love to help people and am keen to offer support where i can. I have lots of friends and am fun, genuine and pretty relaxed really. I work a busy and stressful job, and enjoy the finer things in life...

I love music and staying fit, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and having fun, like trying new things, love the water, love to travel-need to do some more. Love to watch tv and read a good book. socially drink but prefer a good meal with good friends. I like rock climbing, I go 4 wheel driving alot. I would love to learn how to dive. I am scared of flying.

Hi. I know it's been months since you sent me the hug. I'm sorry that I'm am now getting back to you. That's great to hear that your daughter got a wig. I can just imagine what that's doing to her. She must be so happy now. Things have been so unbelievably hectic for me and I just wasn't sure if I really wanted to do this whole online chatting thing but I know it's something I think that will be good. I hope you're still around and hope to hear back from you.

I GUESS I JUST GOT CAUGHT UP IN LIFE AND GETTING THROUGH THE DAILY ROUTINE THAT I GOT LOST ALONG THE WAY....BUT I AM BACK AND I WANT TO SAY THANKS FOR THINKING OF ME AND SENDING SUCH A NICE MESSAGE TO ME...I POSTED A NEW BLOG...UPDATE ON MY SITUATION AND I HOPE YOU WILL READ IT. Im a mother of a 8 year old recently diagnosed with alopecia, we have just brought her first wig. I work as a registered nurse. Daughter loves music, swimming, watching movies, playing with friends and making things, looking to meet and correspond with other parents and children with alopecia. Have about 70% hair loss. Dont know anybody else with alopecia. Live in , New Zealand
Close Stress Management
I work a stressful job of high responsibility and knowledge needed, my personal life is a little derailed, i have just ended a realtionship, and my daughter is suffering from alopecia, now wears a wig. Just need to get life on track again..HELP
