I'm a Software Engineer customizing AFIS systems. I LOVE to collect Pocket Dragons. I like to make beaded jewelry and do counted cross-stitch. I'm also a total "Law & Order" junkie.

Hope you're feeling better. I know that whatever you have, I don't want. I hope you're over it soon. Take care. Peace~

Happy belated Birthday! Sorry I couldn't make it there. Seem to be fighting my mind for control...I think the klingons have taken over.

    • Close Diabetes Type 2

Diagnosed in 1992, but probably had it for 5 or more years earlier. Dad had type 1 and died of complications at 50. Mum, aunt and paternal grandfather all have/had Type 2. With insulins, I'm able to keep my blood sugars in great shape. A1c's range from 5.5 to 6.5 depending on how "good" I was eating. :) Am very overweight and would need less insulin if I could get moving. Also suffer from major depression. But today's a new day, right?

      Treatments

      Actos Working / Worked
Taking 1 pill 4 days per week.
      Amaryl Working / Worked
Had to switch off it. Not covered by insurance.
      Glipizide Working / Worked
    • Close Sleep Apnea

Been exhausted for months. Docs have added BP meds, upped thyroid meds, upped anti-depressents, and added asthma inhaler. To the point of considering working part time rather than full time. Mum finally mentioned sleep apnea. Had my sleep clinic last night. Don't have results yet other than what the tech told me. Oxygen saturation at 58%.
