Today I have the day off. Grace will be going to school, Nick is working with his Dad, and Bruce is at work... I have the day to myself! It used to be that I would relish in being alone with my bottle.. only to get drunk and not have to worry about anyone seeing me wasted.. I could do whatever my drunk ass wanted.. usually something stupid.. pass out.. yeah, those were the days.. no.. instead, today I choose to stay sober... free from my addiction.. I will go to the health club instead and do a workout.. I will eat healthy today.. I will clean my house.. and not get angry at my family for not helping or creating new messes! (frustrating!)... I will probably go into work and use services ie. hydration station, lumiere facial, tan... ahhhhh.... I won't look at the bill pile today.. can't do anything about it till payday so why worry???/ I will make those long overdue phone calls to family and friends I haven't spoke to in a while.. I might watch Oprah.... love Oprah! Yes, today is mine.. all mine.. I will enjoy my day and be grateful for my many blessings..
