About Me
I have had fibro for at least 15 years and it started after a near fatal car accident.I have had very painful fibro for more than 9 years and the pain is never ending. I am always tired and that is depressing. So much to do and so little energy to do it! I am married for 36 years with 1 daughter 2 grandsons. I am Christian and my faith and my medication's are what get me thru......people without fibro do NOT understand what this hell is like!

Ray of Sunshine
I know you're having a great time with your sister here. Hope it's not too hot there. It sure is here. Since we had such a cool summer, it just had to be warm before it got cooler for Fall. I can't wait...this heat is really too much. But I shouldn't complain...some states are having floods. We sure need some rain but I don't wish a flood on anyone. Hope all is well with you and yours. I'm so glad you had such a great time. I'll keep you in my prayers that the cooler weather coming soon won't get to you too much! I love it...but it doesn't get that bad here. We've had snow maybe three times in my lifetime. But the rain can be rough. Everything I broke as a kid screams at me. That's what I get for being such a tom-boy when I was young. It was fun but ...
I had lunch with two old friends yesterday and we had such a nice time. I wish we could do that more often. Since I put it together, maybe I should just do it again.

Close Fibromyalgia
I have had Fibro for 15+ years. The last 9 years have been bad! I am married to someone who does not understand. I have 3 sisters w/fibro so I have their support. Life is miserable with fibro! Tired and in pain!

- I just started it today and I pray for good results! 5/20/08 OK>>>TODAY HAS BEEN 1 MONTH I can say I feel better. My attitude is better,my nerve pain is better & I have actually lost 6 pounds. I am sticking with this drug for now. I am thankful that it has helped me! ***** UPDATE*** I had to go back to paxil. The cymbalta seemed to make me more depressed. I did have the benefit that it tokk my appetie away :) So I am not taking it now. 10/02/08

- I am quitting Lyrica! The side effects are horrible. Weight gain,swelling,wprse pain in legs & feet,worse fatigue,blurred vision! Not worth it!

- I take felxeril and was told this is a great med. May talk to my doc and see what he says. Right now my meds seem to be stable....I am thankful for that :)

Close Families & Friends Affected By Suicide
I have 2 nephews and they both ended their life with in a year of each other. It has been hard...because I feel like I lost my sister as well that night. Both boy belong to one sister and the last one was by hanging and she had to deal with it. I will never forget the look in her eyes that night. God I pray for her everyday! I had a neice that had a pregnant daughter. She took to much medicine and overdosed before her grandaughter was born. Recently ,I had a good friend that hung himself :(

Open Depression Supporters
I have been depressed for years, but my husband is very depressed and I want him to get better. I know I have depression,take meds & work on it. He,up until this week said he never had a problem. It has been years since he has enjoyed life. I called our doc & asked them to treat him when he went for another problem. They saw him and imediately gave him meds! I am scared!

I must have never had a anxiety problem before. I think from reading here that I have. I went to ER 2 weeks ago thinking I was having a hreat attack. My chest & back hurt bad! I was admitted and since seen my reg. dr & a new cardio dr. They told me my heart is good but I had a bad anxiety/panic attack. That I had a esopgageal spasam as well. They gave me xanax and sent me home. I have Fibromyalgia & have spasums all the time. Can this happens once and go away or is this forever? Scared...
