About Me
I was diagnosed in April, 2005 with Fibromyalgia and Lupus. I have "Fibro Fog" a lot and all kinds of pain and headaches. I stay out of the sun due to the Lupus. My hair is falling out. I have daily fatigue and even though I nap, it's like a thurst that can't be quenched. I also have IBS, TMJ, dry mouth & eyes, occasional thrush and depression. The Lupus is attacking my Thyroid and causing swollen glands in my neck.

Good for you!!! Im gona quit again the 28th of Aug. Im not sure the date But it is the day my grandchildren start back to school, they are gona get good grades and Im gona stop smoking... Ive done it before for almost 3 years but stress beat me up and I started again.. Welll keep up the good work....

hey yankee where have you been..things will never calm down my way...in fact right about now I have too much on the plate that i feel to overwhelmed...I will be alright...hugs and love to you my friend....

Close Fibromyalgia
I lost my job in Dec.'07 because my Fibro Fog/Fatigue interfered with my ability to do the job. I had been in insurance claims for 30 yrs. I'm not used to being home all day and not working. I feel useless
Treatments
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- I really can't tell if it works...I still feel very depressed at times.
- Heat Somewhat Helpful
- Heat feels good, but it's only temporary.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Helps with depression. If I don't take it, I get very teary easily.
- Lyrica Not Working
- After 2 1/2 weeks, it caused my face and hands to swell and turn red. My legs also became swollen. HAD TO STOP
- Neurontin Not Working
- Switched on 4/15. It gives me terrible headaches and makes me sleep the day away. HAD TO STOP
- Pamelor Working / Worked
- Helps with insomnia
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- I am allergic to codine, so my choice of pain meds is limited. This drug helps, but still have breakthrough pain.
- Walking Somewhat Helpful
- When I walk I feel better just from the fresh air, if nothing else... But it is very hard to get motivated when Im in pain.
- Morphine Working / Worked
- I just started taking this on 1112 and I have almost no pain.First time in over 3 yrs!!!!

Open Smoking Addiction & Recovery
I have smoked for 35 yrs. I'm starting to weeze and during this heat I'm having difficulty breathing. It's time for me to quit.

- Had headaches and bad nightmares. Couldn't tolerate it.
- Cold Turkey Working / Worked
- I quit on 7/28/09 COLD TURKEY.
