Everything came back perfect! Such a relief, now i can just get on with healing and my reconstruction....on the road to fabulous boobies!!

So....how are you doing after the great infected expander drama? I hope everything is cleared up and you are back on track with your reconstruction.
I've been thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. I'm almost throuigh my expansions and have had NO trouble (thankfully).
I probably won't be back online for awhile but I want you to know I'm thinking of you.

Hi, I just had my surgery 3 weeks ago on March 5th 2008. The saturday after i was released from the hospital, I weighed 246.5. I have to admit, the recovery is tougher then I expected. I dont know anyone personally who has had this surgery, so I was hoping to meet some people that might be able to help me out on what to expect and maybe answer any questions I have. Thanks and I'm looking forward to meeting and talking to you.
I was recently tested for the cancer gene and it came back positive. I think my doctor was more traumatized then i was. Probably because I'm not as informed as I should be. I go to see a geneticist on April 15th and from what I'm now being told, that should have been the first step. Anyway, I'm a bit confused about everything. They spoke with me about mastectomy and removing my ovary. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all. Thanks.
