To say to someone that they should be happy that their loved ones are in a better place is an insult to their humaness and emotions. We grieve because we took a chance in our lifetime, knowing that our loved ones were a gift we couldn't keep forever. Yet we continue to take the chance knowing in our hearts that it will return to us, at a different time, and in a different world. It is a promise to our soul so worth waiting for.
In time, I know the seasons of my life will begin again. I will survive this season of loss because I have no choice but to believe there will be a summer. A hazy distant memory of summer is all we have to hold on to, but our loved ones promise us it is waiting for us. The seasons of loss will repeat themselves over and over in our lives thru the course of our lifetime but every one that we endure is one season less until we find that endless summer of joy we will spend with those loved ones in Heaven. I think our loved ones know that it will happen.....and in the meantime we learn to walk thru those seasons and follow the sun.

Jules ,i think people say this to us ,because they don`t know how else to react...it`s something they hope will bring you some comfort ,often having been thru it themselves.I know i`ve done it before ,and it wasn`t until i lost both my dad ,and the girls ,i realised just how much i DIDn`T want to be told this..
All i can say is i`m here for you ,if you want to talk ,cry ,yell..
Tammy is right tho` ,your wonderful mum is always with you .So are you ,when u say you`ll see her again..i firmly believe we meet all our loved ones ,once it`s our time,THAt my friend is what brings me some comfort ,on the darkest of days.
