South Africa, wow! Yes, I'm in Texas, sorry if it confused. I take more Lithium now, but not sure how much. Gosh, that hug was a while back. Glad meet someone (nearly) my age. :)

Close Bipolar Disorder
Just had 1 year anniversary of my diagnosis. Had a hectic year, went through 20+meds and hospitalisation - putting the pieces back together now. Trying anyhow.
Treatments
- Abilify Working / Worked
- Gave me restless legs though..
- Ativan Working / Worked
- Magic stuff for short term management of anxiety..
- Celexa Not Working
- Helped me into hypomania.. not the best idea, for me anyhow.
- Depakote Working / Worked
- Epilim is a life saver..
- Group Therapy Working / Worked
- Lamictal Not Working
- I was allergic to the medication.. watch out for the rash! Call your dr if you get it!!
- Lithium Working / Worked
- Initially, some abdominal distress - went away with continued use.
- Risperdal Working / Worked
- Makes me feel "numb", got to a point, where i just couldn't feel anymore.. feel depressed yes, not like i enjoyed anything.
- Seroquel Somewhat Helpful
- Fantastic sleep from it though..
- Wellbutrin Not Working
- It feels like it makes me feel worse? its only been about two weeks.. and now am off it.. didn't enjoy thinking about killing myself so much
- Zyprexa Working / Worked
